The seminar will cover the topic of employment law. A broad topic that could take several sessions to adequately cover he will cover the high points touching on the rights and obligations within the employer-employee relationship. A complex area of law, employment law covers a wide variety of situations, including issues as diverse as discrimination, wrongful termination, wages and tax, and workplace safety. Many issues are governed by federal and state law. However, where the employment relationship is based on a valid contract, state contract law may dictate the rights and duties of each party.
